Upcoming Events Heswall Map Competition - March 2010  As part of our celebrations to mark our 30th Anniversary, Dee Fine Arts is offering you the chance to win a framed map of Heswall. From 1st to 20th March 2010 the map will be on display in the gallery window. Just answer the question on the card attached to the frame and put your answer in the box inside the gallery. The winner will be drawn from all the correct entries received by 5pm on Saturday 20th March 2010. Terms & Conditions: One entry per household accepted on the entry form available in the gallery. The draw will take place after close of business on Saturday 20th March 2010 and the winner will be notified by email or telephone within seven days of the draw taking place. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winners name will be published on the Dee Fine Arts website. The prize is non transferable and there is no cash alternative. The winner will be required to collect the framed map in person from Dee Fine Arts and agree to being photographed receiving their prize. By entering into this competition the winner agrees to have their name and photograph used for publicity by Dee Fine Arts. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. Open Exhibition of Art & Crafts - April/May 2010 2010 will be Dee Fine Arts' 30th Anniversary and to celebrate this special landmark we will be hosting an Open Exhibition of Art & Craft Work. All are welcome to apply to take part. Artists and Craftworkers can submit up to 2 artworks for consideration free of charge. Email the Gallery to request an application form and entry guidelines at sales@deefinearts.com or alternatively call into Dee Fine Arts. Handing in date for works is Friday 16th April 2010. Past Events October 2009 - Open Evening to Launch Two Fantastic Exhibitions  On Friday 2nd October, Dee Fine Arts held an Open Evening to launch our two new exhibitions. The first exhibition was a collection of landscape paintings by the Award Winning Artist, Ivan Taylor. Ivan attended the Open Evening where he chatted to guests about his career as an artist and his current collection of work.Our second exhibition featured a diverse range of work by Wirral based Contemporary Jewellery Designers, many of whom were at the gallery on the night. Following the success of our Open Evening, both exhibitions continued throughout October & November 2009. June 2009 - A Visit from The Mayor & Mayoress of Wirral  The Mayor & Mayoress of Wirral, Andrew & Kathryn Hodson attended the Private View of paintings by David & Paul Shiers which was held at the gallery on 1st June 2009.March 2009 - Dee Fine Arts Does Comic Relief  Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Sands of Heswall on winning the Liverpool Cityscape print by Ben Johnson in the Comic Relief Raffle. Plus a huge thank you to all our customers who took part in the events at the gallery and helped us to raise almost £250 for Comic Relief.
